XPAG/TD2/23491 (XPAG/TD2/23491 is listed in the MG factory Guaratee Plate Records, but listed as 23496 on all Arnolt ledgers and on reproduction Arnolt plate on car (reproduced in Ponder auction catalog. Engine 23496 was originally fitted to car TD22988, so 23491 is probably correct).

Additional Information

The Vessel Ledger shows that Arnolt 237 was shipped on the SS Kollfynn along with convertibles 233, 234 and 235, and coupes 226, 227, 228, 229, 230 and 231, received in Chicago via the Great Lakes on July 21, 1953. Sold to James R. Thomas on Sept. 9, 1953 on invoice 1158. Extensively restored.
