MG produced this as a Left-Hand drive TD with Export to North America specifications (EXLNA), on 3 March, 1953. The Vessel ledgers show that Arnolt 246 was shipped on the SS Polycrest with coupes 242, 243, 244, and 245, and convertible 241, received in Chicago via the Great Lakes on 5 August, 1953. The purchaser was Continental Cars, Saint Louis, delivered on 15 May, 1955, invoice 1938.
