MG produced this as a Left-Hand drive TD with Export to North America specifications (EXLNA), on 17 March, 1953. The Vessel ledgers show that Arnolt convertible 259 was shipped on the SS Kollbrynn with Arnolt convertibles 256, 262, 265, 268 and 271, and coupes 258, 260, 261, 263 and 266, arriving in Chicago via the Great Lakes on October 13, 1953. The purchaser was J. S. Inskip Inc. ("355 Broad St., Providence, RI" according to ASD ledger #1.) on 25 April, 1956, invoice 577.
