Additional Information

MG produced this as a "Chassis Only" Left-Hand drive TD with Export to North America specifications (EXLNA), on 14 April, 1953. The Vessel ledgers show that Arnolt convertible 286 was shipped on the SS Francesco Morosini with Arnolt coupes 287, 288 and 290, and convertible 295, and was received in New Orleans on 11 December, 1953. The purchaser was British Motors [New Orleans, LA] on 19 December,1953, invoice 1304. Car now fitted with MGB engine, transmission, and front disc brakes. Comes with rebuilt and crated original XAG engine. Incorrect driving lights, MGA diff, and interior.
