Arnolt's own car, later sold by his son to Jeffrey Hess in Florida, who sold it on Ebay 1/29/2013 for $60.5K, with stated mileage of less than 2,500, Dennis Day did some work on the car, but never owned or restored it. Now owned by Craig Burchsted of Austin TX, 281 381 0027 or craig@pptxinc.com
MG produced this as a "Chassis Only" Left-Hand drive TD with Export to North America specifications (EXLNA), on 4 May, 1953. The Vessel ledgers show that Arnolt coupe 299 was shipped on the SS Meir Dizengoff with Arnolt coupes 293, 302, 303, 308 and 314, and was received in New York on 13 January, 1954. Purchaser listed as "Warsaw, Ind.", "Warsaw SHA Consignment" and "Arnolt House" on ledgers. Wacky Arnolt's car, sold by his family.
